lucky us part deux

 * * *

 this past weekend was
our own personal
extravaganza !
started off on friday at rogers in ohio...of course...my favorite flea

gotta love a guy who used paper plates for pricing..simple and sweet !

i keep tellin' ya..you can buy just about anything at rogers !!

and the people watching is fantasic !!

they sell animals there also !
(cant do that in PA....so it's weird to see it)

what did i say about the people !!
this gal was fantastic..posed for me and everything...

not sure what was better her or the shirt !

then i head on down the road to see a great girl i know who has a little shop in her barn

she always has great boots for me !
and i just love the feel of her place...
i will be doing an entire post on her abode one day soon !

friday night brought a trip downtown to a local boutique run by some great friends of mine

my show - travel cohort
was having a trunk show...

 late nite dinner and drinks......
staring to burn the candle at both ends !!

* * *
saturday morning brought a trip up to the mountains
to ligonier PA

it's a historic little ..(very little) town
where the fort is that george washington stayed at........

oh dont get me tellin' lies...i dont remember the history at all..
well..there's a fort there where we all take our kids
when they are little to experience some history

anyway twice a year they have
'antiques on the diamond'
a show around the town square
(which they call a diamond..haha)

it's a bit of an upscale town so the antiques are of better quality...
well..lets say, not the usual 'junk' we go for
but it's usually a nice ride, and interesting show

(i also do a show there in the fall
fort ligonier days
quite a tado !)

that piece was sold, or i just may have bought it...very cool porcelain top and sink !

wondered what the hell they were feeding these plants,
but seriously MASSIVE sunflowers !!

the photog,...this is usually what you see if you run into me

there's a fabulous church sale in town that weekend too,
always great buys there..

most things are $1..or whatever you want to donate..
it's a win win..
my kind of sale !!!

always stop for these signs

farmer's market with crafters on the way out of town..
again...always a good stop

a few more stops on the way home in a town called jeannette...always good junkin here

tired yet ????
nah...

so...sunday up at the crack of dawn..
head to the washington antique fair..
last sunday of every month..

this fair is a great mix of high end and low end..
lots of variety !

love me some old cupboards !!

lots of furniture at this market

well...after that we hit our local
rossi's market

a LOW end flea that's every weekend...

* * *

i of course bought loads of junk,
but always forget to take pictures of it !!
so you'll just have to come to the
country living fair
and visit my booth !

* * *

well..are you exhausted yet...
i definitely am !!

i am trying to get ready for my 4 show run starting in september,
i'm still trying to get really moved in to my new house.(many boxes not unpacked yet)
i'm trying to ready my old house for sale,
i'm in the midst of a legal hassle with my boro (a story for another day)
i'm trying to landscape my new property...

should i go on....the list is truly endless..

so although i am taking much jewelry work with me,
i am heading to my yearly YURT visit at the local state park.

what's a YURT you say...

here's a previous post..it will show you why i love it. !!
peace and quiet here i come

and a stack of about 35 magazines that i havent had time to read !!
