as i've told you before,
we are very lucky here in pittsburgh

we have many many sources for recycling materials

i made a trip to a local one the other day..

you just never know what you're going to find there...

check out this MASSIVE sink....wouldnt this be awesome in a workshop or garden ??

huge antique sink

needs some love and care..but i could see it !!!

how about a water fountain ??

vintage antique water fountain

wouldnt the kids just think you were cool ??

of how about a pink toilet ??
awesome...they have one ...or two ...or three !

old colored toilet

or a unique sink
i loved this one !!
not sure of it's original intent ??

old antique sink

everything is donated...
so they sell just about anything you could ever want..
you just have to check back every week to see what was brought in !

need a hand ???
or an entire arm ?

maniquin arms

how about some tile...
they have plenty

check this out...
i could see this in my office holding files

but on this day ..the piece de resistance...
was this stove

antique stove

it was love at first site

(and i dont even really cook !)

it was dusty, but in great..almost new condition

antique stove

i never saw one with a steamer built right in..

antique stove

how cool is that ?

if it hadnt been electric (i prefer gas)
i may just have bought it !
$120 ....that's a steal

You need to bring some of those pieces home with you! I have a water fountain waiting in my garage for "someday"...we used to have a stove with a steamer in our garage when I grew up. Love that huge long sink!!

My Dad still has that stove in the canning kitchen!

LOOOVE! You should have gone for the stove. Awesome.

I think you should have made the stove yours, even if it is electric. It's adorable!

I have never been there... probably b/c I'm a renter and it would drive me nuts... with home owner envy!

Wow, that stove is pretty cool. I think I would have had to bring home an arm or two though!

Fun! That sink kind of creeps me out! ;)

Oh, I could spend HOURS at a place like that! The first sink is just too cool! I'd put it in a bathroom with a shelf over it for toothbrushes and stuff.
I used to cook on a stove exactly like that one. The only think I didn't like was the oven. It was a little small. But $120 is a steal!
